Changing the world is serious business that cannot be a solo act. It requires a support system, a platform that acts as a dynamic point of contact and connection between different sectors, to forge a vibrant community of practice and knowledge; to build an infrastructure that enables all stakeholders to identify and function as part of an industry, the Khemka Forum on Social Entrepreneurship is our attempt towards building this ecosystem.
The Khemka Forum on Social Entrepreneurship (the Forum) hosts India's most influential social entrepreneurs, thought leaders, philanthropists, investors, academics, government and media representatives, who meet under its big tent to collectively advance the agenda of social entrepreneurship in the country.
Held annually, the Forum is designed to encourage a deep dive into issues that confront social entrepreneurs as they scale their models. Through a judicious mix of plenaries, tracks, and consultancy clinics, delegates interact and engage in discussions around the big four gap areas: access to financial capital, talent management, stakeholder engagement and standardized metrics. The Forum also facilitates robust solution exchange by encouraging delegates to meet around issues in their own area of work-renewable energy, affordable housing, healthcare, skill development and employability et al.
